What a fantastic start to the season! If you haven’t been a varsity boy’s game you have missed an absolute treat. We are 9-2 with a 2nd place finish in the Cy-Fair ISD tourney, first time in a tournament finals in a long time. I stand by the statement no team plays as hard as we do. Talent PLUS tremendous effort is a great combination. Our Junior varsity is 7-1 and having a fabulous season.

We appreciate the support we have received. We thank you for the cheers and the self-control with some of the refs calls. As coaches every loss is our fault and every win is because of the kids. We accept that and welcome the responsibility. Believe me I have spent many sleepless nights after a loss, including the recent finals loss. Coach Suleimanji and I rehash every game before we get in the film room and begin scouting our next opponent.

I cannot begin to tell you how incredible all my sub-varsity coaches are. We all work well together and I trust them completely. Your kids are in great hands and will improve as a player if they put their trust in each of us. I value summer basketball but what we do is a completely different level of basketball. A great example is this years varsity and their tremendous off season work. Keep in mind our number one goal…. one extra game for the varsity. No matter how great december is for us, it is all preparation for our district schedule. Keep slapping the kids on their backs and screaming your support, we look forward to seeing you at our games.
