Coach Townley is currently in his 30th year of coaching, my 19th at Cy-Fair high school. His hometown is Groves, Texas where he attended Port Neches-Groves High School. Coach T received his Education degree from Sam Houston State University. Previous coaching stops include West Hardin High School, Reed junior high in Duncanville, Texas and Haltom High School in Fort Worth. He is currently the sponsor of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Through his church and FCA Coach Townley has a passion for coaching basketball on mission trips. He has coached throughout the state and also in China, Mongolia and Hungary. Coach Townley has been married to my wife Dana for 24 years. They have two daughters. Hailey attends Sam Houston State pursuing a communications degree with a career in the ministry. Megan is a senior at Cy-Fair and is planning to pursue physical therapy with an emphasis on missions.

Coach Trocquet is in his first season at Cy-Fair as the varsity boys assistant. He attended high school at Cy-Creek where he played on a state semi-finalist basketball team. He received his education degree from the University of North Texas. Presently in his 5th year of coaching which included coaching at Cy-Springs High School. Coach Trocquet has been married for one year to his wife Amy, who is currently coaching at Cy-Springs High School.

Coach Hammel is beginning his 7th year at Cy-Fair. He graduated from Durant high school in Oklahoma. He attended Stephen F. Austin University and received his degree form Southeastern Oklahoma University. Previous coaching stops include two high schools in Louisiana as well as Arnold and Thornton middle schools. He is married to Cindy and they have a daughter, Jordyn, who attends LSU.

Coach Buck is in his 34th year of coaching, 15th at Cy-Fair High School. Coach Buchanan played high school basketball at Clear Lake High School for the legendary Bill Krueger. He has had head coaching stops at Northbrook, Klein Oak and Cy-Fair. He took each school to the state playoffs during his time there. Buck and his wife Karen have been married 31 years. They have two children, Shanna nad Matt, both graduates of Cy-Fair.

Coach Janak is in his second year of coaching. He graduated from Sante Fe High School and Texas Lutheran University. He worked as a football graduate assistant at Texas State before coming to Cy-Fair. He will finish his Master’s degree in December.
